Description

Astronauts are stranded on a tiny planet with big monsters and you need to escape! Gear up and fend off waves of aliens. Call for rescue and end up as the player with the highest score. Can you keep up with the ever increasing tempo?

In Rotation you play as a astronaut starting out with nothing. Search in boxes and complete missions to find weapons, gear and special abilities. You get three choices when you loot and they will cost you points, same points which ranks you on the leader-board. So you need to be careful not to pick a too expensive build and not to waste ammunition. In this small world you will run into other players who may help or harm you. You end the game by building a communications device which signals for rescue, a timer then starts for its arrival. Once on-board the player highest on the scoreboard wins.

Who I am

Rotation is made by Mikael Borghult, a independent solo game developer who works part-time in a unrelated field. The game is being produced on a shoe-string budged with every asset being either free or created from scratch. The development of the game has been on and off over the years with the end goal evolving. The plans started in the summer of  2014 after finishing University. Back then then the plan was to just animate a trailer to showcase in job searching. The decision to actually start making a game game later that year. Being mostly a 3D modeler it required a lot of learning to start also programming. But being stubborn and confident will eventually get you there.
